Conferences are a part and parcel of life, it's not just businesses that have them, almost all organisations need to have conferences and therefore, this is rampant both in the public as well as private sector.
However, planning and running conferences isn't a simple task as you need to take care of a lot of stuff. For instance, you would first need to find the perfect room, organize the food, video and audio equipment, and make sure that everyone is provided with a pad and pen or even a laptop.
Wouldn't it be a lot easier if most of the planning wasn't necessary at all? Well, that's possible if you know where to look. There are plenty of hotels that have special conference rooms and hence everything is already set up as you need it. Moreover, cuisine will never be an issue if you're in a hotel right?

Also, when picking a place to host the conference you need to keep the people in mind, pick a place that is close to most of them as then they would gladly be present and have a positive outlook as well.

Another important factor that you need to look into is whether the hotel staff are well organized. Would you be able to find the person in charge with ease or do you have to run around trying to get things in place?

What do they provide?
The facilities that you need may vary depending on the kind of conference; but, usually you would need a projector, proper heating/cooling, lighting and also good interior décor - you don't want it to be too flashy as it would then distract people.
The Room size and capacity
One of the last, yet most important factors that you need to consider is the room size. It needs to have a good layout and at the same time be spacy. Moreover, the number of chairs should be sufficient for all members to have a seat.
